History

PlanB Consulting AB was founded at the turn of 1999-2000. The formation of the company was a logical consequence of years of inspiring networking with hubs in Aarhus, San Francisco and Helsingborg.

The desire to create innovative projects and contribute to a positive future for people, organizations and society gave us the first major client assignment, Engagemang för Malmö (Commitment to Malmö), an initiative designed to implement the City of Malmö’s values within the organization.

The second, yearlong assignment – education and training of High Potentials – was commissioned by an industry organization.

Backed up by our customer’s positive experience, we have consolidated and developed a common set of values that continue to inspire us in our client assignments: People makes companies and organizations survive, grow and remain successful in the long run, not vice versa.

In 2004 major parts of the Danish company YalaYala ApS joined PlanB. The company became Swedish-Danish.

In 2008 PlanB acquired a majority in the Danish company Connector A/S, which enlarged the market and strengthened the capacity in project management development. Today PlanB is a group with two companies on both side of the Öresund, with offices in Malmö, Copenhagen and Stockholm.
