The organizational culture is the key

When Lars Lanker signed up for the Process Consultant program with a system theoretical orientation, he was completely free from expectations. Mostly he was curious about what ”system theoretical orientation” could mean.

Organisationen som ett system

En viktig del av PlanB’s teoretiska fundament utgörs av systemteorin. Systemteori är en bred teoribildning som går över ett flertal forskningsfält – från naturvetenskap och teknik till beteendevetenskap och humaniora. Inom organisationsforskningen är systemteori ett fruktbart angreppssätt, där man ser på organisationer som komplexa, dynamiska, målorienterade processer. Många forskare har bidragit till fältet, bland andra psykologen Kurt Lewin, Peter Senge och Edgar Schein.
Ett system är uppbyggt av regelbundet samspelande och sinsemellan relaterade grupper av aktiviteter. Systemteorin betonar särskilt relationer, hur organisationen fungerar som ett enda system, som en helhet.
